The possible tomb of one of the first Maya kings (c. 450 AC) in Copan was discovered recently in the Temple Oropendola in the heart of the Maya Ruins in Copan.
In the room where the tomb was found there were several engraved vessels, marble jars, a jade piece and a collar of finely worked stone pieces usually worned by kings.
The finding of Temple Oropendola and the tomb of one of the early kings adds attraction to the Maya Ruins in Copan. You can make it part of your vacation plans for this summer.
